Our Story
In the beginning.
Once upon a time in the early 1960’s...Three Christian admen had a revelation. A life-changing calling to stop using their design skills to sell tobacco...And use them instead to proclaim Christ.
So they sold their houses and created an organisation devoted to advancing the Gospel through communications.For the next 6 decades, the charitable arm of CPO (Christian Publishing and Outreach) became the leader in creating Christian communications that ‘advance the Gospel’.
Meanwhile, CPO’s trading arm, ‘CPO Shop’, supplied local churches with communications resources at cost-effective prices.
Trouble in paradise.
But trouble was brewing and came to the boil in early 2022.
First, CPO was a confused animal. Was it a charity or a trading company? Was it both? Or was it neither?
Second, its creative product missed the move from print to video; and then from analogue to digital.
Third, specialist print and fulfilment companies could now offer churches a better, more cost-efficient service.
Time for some radical action.
CPO transferred its trading arm to Yeomans Press Limited.
CPO the charity was free to fly again and focus on its original mission: to advance the Gospel through communications.
A new era needed a new name. And so, Lògòs Foundation was born......placing Lògòs amongst the logos; taking the Word into the world.
